In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Pepperell Dragons softball team scored a nice 22-1 win over the Rome Wolves.

The Dragons (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Model (Rome, GA). The Blue Devils come into the 1A D-I Region 6 match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Model notched a victory over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA), 20-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wolves play the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 3. Rome will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 0-11 record after their 20-2 non-league loss to Model (Rome, GA).
