In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Akron-Fairgrove Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Peck Pirates.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Owendale-Gagetown (Owendale, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Michigan Summit test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Owendale-Gagetown achieved victory over Peck (Peck, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owendale-Gagetown for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Peck will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Laker (Pigeon, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
