The Prairie Mustangs (New Raymer, CO) volleyball held off the host Akron Rams (Akron, CO), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Arickaree for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5.

With the loss, Akron drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO) to clash with the Dragons in a 2A/1A Lower Platte bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Holyoke lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Merino (Merino, CO)
