Texas High School Volleyball - MacArthur over Alief Hastings

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) and the host Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX), observed MacArthur's volleyball team top Alief Hastings by a count of 3-0.

The Generals (7-19) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 8-18 record. In their last contest, Cypress Springs was knocked off by Jersey Village (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

The Bears now own a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northbrook for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Alief Hastings will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Westfield (Houston, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 4-13.
