The Assumption Mustangs volleyball team (Napoleonville, LA), was beaten 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA)

The Griffins (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Redstickers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph's Academy beat St. Amant (St. Amant, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Assumption will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Doyle (Livingston, LA).
