The Lions now have a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Abbott for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Blooming Grove will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Live Oak Classical (Waco, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-3.

The Polar Bears (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 17-6 record. In their last outing, Hillsboro was topped by La Vega (Waco, TX), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
