In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Butler Bulldogs.

The Vikings (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars enter the Meck Power Six 7A/8A challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Chambers was tipped by Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Sabres enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
