Credo Gryphon (Rohnert Park, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Point Arena Pirates (Point Arena, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Gryphon (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Helena (St. Helena, CA). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Helena was beaten by Piner (Santa Rosa, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Potter Valley Bearcats (Potter Valley, CA) in a North Central III test, on Tuesday, September 9. Point Arena will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Laytonville (Laytonville, CA).
