Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) and the host Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD), observed Dell Rapids's volleyball team top Elk Point-Jefferson by a count of 3-0.

The Quarriers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Sioux Falls Christian achieved victory over Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Huskies now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dakota Valley for a A Region 4 battle on Thursday, September 4. Elk Point-Jefferson will battle a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tri-Valley (Colton, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
