With the win, Notre Dame improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Nikes host Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to encounter the Chiefs in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Chiefs go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Keokuk lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA)

The Bears now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Mahaska for a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. English Valleys will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Albia (Albia, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 5-2.
