Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) and the visiting English Valleys Bears (North English, IA), observed Wapello's volleyball team top English Valleys by a tally of 2-0.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Pekin achieved victory over Keota (Keota, IA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Mahaska for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. English Valleys will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Albia (Albia, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 5-2.
