Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN) and the host Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN), observed Farmington's volleyball team top Jefferson by a count of 3-1.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Owatonna was knocked off by Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Jaguars encounter the Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) in a Metro West battle, on Thursday, September 4. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Storm go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN).
