In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jeffers Jets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Gwinn Modeltowners.

The Jets (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Houghton (Houghton, MI). The Gremlins come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Houghton lost by Seymour (Seymour, WI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Modeltowners play the Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 4. Gwinn will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Braves go into the game with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Manistique (Manistique, MI).
