In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host James Clemens Jets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pell City Panthers.

The Jets (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartselle (Hartselle, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Hartselle was beaten by Austin (Decatur, AL), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Calera Eagles (Calera, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 8. Pell City will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to McAdory (McCalla, AL).
