In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host La Marque Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the O'Connell Buccaneers.

The Cougars (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Wharton (Wharton, TX). The Tigers go into the 4A Region IV District 29 test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Wharton was defeated by Palacios (Palacios, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
