The Lamar Vikings volleyball squad (Arlington, TX), dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX)

With the win, Lake Ridge improves its record to 18-8 on the season. The Eagles host Centennial (Burleson, TX) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 20-8. Centennial won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX)

The Vikings now own a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burleson for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Lamar will meet a Elks team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX). The Elks record now stands at 6-14.
