Colorado High School Volleyball - Rye over Las Animas

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) and the host Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO), witnessed Rye's volleyball team overcome Las Animas by a tally of 3-0.

The Thunderbolts (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Pueblo Central beat Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Manzanola Bobcats (Manzanola, CO) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Las Animas will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Raton (Raton, NM).
