In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Watertown-Mayer Royals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Legacy Christian Academy Lions.
The Royals (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Marshall beat Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions play the Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 5. Legacy Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Sting go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over PACT Charter (Ramsey, MN).
