Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Manila Lions (Manila, AR), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pocahontas improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Redskins travel to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR) to face the Hurricane in a non-league test on Monday, September 8. The Hurricane go into the test with a record of 2-1. Jonesboro lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Cabot (Cabot, AR)

The Lions now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrisburg for a 3A 3 test on Thursday, September 4.
