The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans (Melvern, KS) and the visiting Metro Academy Mavericks (Shawnee Mission, KS), saw Marais des Cygnes Valley's volleyball squad notch a victory over Metro Academy by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Marais des Cygnes Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans host Yates Center (Yates Center, KS) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Yates Center won 2-1 in their recent league battle against Northeast (Arma, KS)

The Mavericks now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle Heights Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5.
