In Tuesday's non-league match, the River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV) volleyball squad toppled the host Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV), by a score of 2-0.

With the win, River View improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Miners now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Phelps for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11.
