With the win, Washington improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Demons host Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to face the Golden Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, September 8. The Golden Hawks go into the test with a record of 8-0. Mid-Prairie won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against West Branch (West Branch, IA)

The Panthers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albia for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Mt. Pleasant will face a Blue Demons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 4-3.
