Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) and the host Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), observed New Manchester's volleyball team hold off Rome by a tally of 2-1.

The Jaguar (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Campbell tipped Sprayberry (Marietta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Wolves now own a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alexander for a 5A Area 5 test on Tuesday, September 9. Rome will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-11.
