Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) and the visiting Weiser Wolverines (Weiser, ID), observed New Plymouth's volleyball team top Weiser by a count of 3-1.

The Pilgrims (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Payette (Payette, ID). The Pirates go into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record.

The Wolverines now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Payette for a 4A Snake River Valley battle on Thursday, September 4. Weiser will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Emmett (Emmett, ID). The Pirates record now stands at 0-3.
