Connecticut High School Volleyball - St. Joseph over Newtown

In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting St. Joseph Cadets volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Newtown Nighthawks.

With the win, St. Joseph advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cadets travel to Fitch (Groton, CT) to face the Falcons in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-1. Fitch lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT)

The Nighthawks now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Darien for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Newtown will play a Blue Wave team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Blue Wave record now stands at 1-0.
