Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) and the host Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA), observed Pioneer's volleyball team top Yuba City by a tally of 3-0.

The Patriots (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland (Woodland, CA). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Woodland beat Yuba City (Yuba City, CA), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Honkers now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roseville for a Foothill Valley League test on Tuesday, September 9. Yuba City will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
