With the win, West Monona advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Spartans host West Central Valley (Stuart, IA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-2. West Central Valley lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA)

The Eagles now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodbury Central for a Western Valley test on Tuesday, September 9. Siouxland Christian will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
