Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR) and the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), saw Springfield's volleyball squad notch a victory over Willamette by a tally of 3-0.

The Millers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Junction City (Junction City, OR). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Junction City was beaten by Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Willamette will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR).
