Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against John Marshall (Richmond, VA). The Justices come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, John Marshall was defeated by Hopewell (Hopewell, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glen Allen for a Colonial test on Tuesday, September 2. Thomas Jefferson will face a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
