Next, the Cougars confront the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Capital will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Flying Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 5-0 league win over Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV).

The Timberwolves now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Carter for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 22.
