In Tuesday's non-league game, the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) soccer squad overwhelmed the host PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), by a final score of 5-1.
The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Minutemen go into the non-league game with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Lewis County by University (Morgantown, WV), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Princeton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 22. PikeView will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 2-8.
