In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Purple Hurricanes face the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 26. Monroe Area will attempt to better on its 12-11 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA).
With the loss, Apalachee moves to 0-9 on the year.
