The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) and the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME), saw Hampden's soccer squad beat Skowhegan by a margin of 4-0.
The Broncos now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Blue for a Class A - North test on Saturday, September 24. Hampden will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Skowhegan drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The River hawks host Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME) to play the Eagles in a Class A - North outing on Thursday, September 22. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Mt. Ararat 1-1 in their recent league outing against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME)
