The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) and the visiting Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), saw Topsail's soccer squad beat Richlands by a margin of 5-1.
The Pirates now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hoggard for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, September 22. Topsail will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 11-0.
With the loss, Richlands drops to 2-6 on the season. The Wildcats host James Kenan (Warsaw, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 22.
