The Adairsville Tigers (Adairsville, GA) softball routed the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), 10-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Ringgold (Ringgold, GA). The Tigers go into the 3A Region 6 bout with a 6-12 record. In their last bout, Ringgold toppled Ridgeland (Rossville, GA), 13-7, in a league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to North Murray for a 2A Region 7 bout on Thursday, September 22. Model will confront a Mountaineers squad coming off a 12-10 league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-14.
