The Big Spring Steers volleyball team (Big Spring, TX), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX)

The Tornadoes (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Brownfield (Brownfield, TX). The Cubs enter the 3A Region I District 3 challenge with a 7-15 record. In their last challenge, Brownfield was nudged by Plains (Plains, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Steers encounter the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Big Spring will attempt to move on its 8-15 season record.
