The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves topped the visiting Cass Lake-Bena Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolves now have a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake of the Woods for a non-league test on Thursday, September 22. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Blackduck (Blackduck, MN). The Bears record now stands at 9-1.
The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Tigers enter the Northwoods test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Pine River-Backus dropped by Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
