The D'Hanis Cowboys volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Junction Eagles to 1 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cowboys now possess a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leakey for a 1A Region IV District 30 game on Friday, September 23. D'Hanis will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Brackett (Brackettville, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.

The Eagles (15-8) will now prepare for their game against Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Broncos enter the 2A Region I District 5 game with a 19-9 record. In their last game, Sonora defeated Lake View (San Angelo, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
