The Gatesville Hornets topped the host Marble Falls Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 13-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robinson for a 4A Region III District 23 test on Friday, September 23. Gatesville will confront a Rockets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Crawford (Crawford, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 14-14.

The Mustangs (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Cougars enter the 4A Region III District 24 test with a 13-12 record. In their last test, Jarrell gained a win over Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
