Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig] Storm (Elgin, ND) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting New England Tigers (New England, ND), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Storm battle the Washburn Cardinals (Washburn, ND) in a B - Region 5 match, on Thursday, September 22. Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig] will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

With the loss, New England drops to 9-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] (Bowman, ND) to battle the Bulldogs in a B - Region 7 match on Tuesday, September 27. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 7-4. Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Philip (Philip, SD)
