The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) and the visiting Johnson City Eagles (Johnson City, TX), saw San Marcos's volleyball squad beat Johnson City by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, San Marcos upgrades its record to 19-12 on the year. The Rattlers host Clemens (Schertz, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout on Friday, September 23. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 16-15. Clemens lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX)
The Eagles now own a 23-10 record. They play next when they host Lee Academy of Science & Engineering for a 2A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, September 27.
