The Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) volleyball overcame the visiting Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Northwestern Area upgrades its record to 12-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD) to face the Mustangs in a A Region 1 outing on Thursday, September 22. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 3-9. Waubay/Summit lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD)
The Titans now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Ellendale for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 22. Leola/Frederick will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Oakes (Oakes, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-4.
