Kentucky High School Volleyball - Somerset Christian edged by Mercer County

September 20, 2022: Somerset, KY 42564

The Mercer County Titans held off the host Somerset Christian Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Titans now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Jessamine for a District 46 test on Thursday, September 22. Mercer County will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-7.

The Cougars (15-5) will now prepare for their test against John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, John Hardin was nudged by Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY), 3-2, in a non-league test.
