The Nantahala Hawks volleyball team (Topton, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC)

The Maroon Devils (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mountaineers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Tuscola was dropped by Enka (Enka, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks encounter the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Nantahala will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC).
