In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Newark Charter School Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Tatnall Hornets.

The Patriots (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE). The Vikings come into the Diamond State battle with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE) in a Independent Schools battle, on Thursday, September 22. Tatnall will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
