In Wednesday's non-league game, the Red Land Patriots (Lewisberry, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), by a score of 26-8.
The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their game against New Oxford (New Oxford, PA). The Colonials come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, New Oxford was knocked off by Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA), 34-26, in a non-league game.
The Huskies now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cedar Cliff for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 27. Mifflin County will battle a Colts team coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA). The Colts record now stands at 1-0.
