The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) and the host Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), saw Robertson's volleyball squad nip Moriarty by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Robertson upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cardinals host Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sundevils in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 28. The Sundevils go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

The Pintos now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grants for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. Moriarty will play a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 4-1.
