Indiana High School Soccer - Yorktown knocks off Anderson

Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the host Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Yorktown will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Delta (Muncie, IN).

The Indians now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison for a North Central challenge on Saturday, September 23. Anderson will confront a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 8-3.
