In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Gonzaga Prep Bullpups soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Ferris Saxons.
The Bullpups (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cheney (Cheney, WA). The Blackhawks come into the 3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Cheney nudged Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
