The Towanda Black Knights soccer team scored 11 points and limited the host Montgomery Red Raiders to 0 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Black Knights face the Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA) in a PIAA District IV-A contest, on Saturday, September 23. Towanda will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Montoursville (Montoursville, PA).
The Red Raiders now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Williamsport for a Mid-Penn D4 contest on Tuesday, September 26. Montgomery will face a Mountaineers team coming off a 7-2 league win over Millville (Millville, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-6.
